Our chapel was filled with 70 consecrated women of the archdiocese of Cincinnati on February 2, 2012, a day set aside to celebrate World Day of Consecrated Life. It was fitting that the event begun with a holy hour where we offered praise and thanksgiving to God for the gift of consecrated life. A reception followed immediately in the auditorium, where the sisters were able to meet each other and get acquainted. Sister Marilyn Kerber, archdiocesan vicar for religious, spoke and shared some news of her congregation, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. As other sisters spoke briefly about their religious families, we were awed at the diversity of charisms with which God has gifted the Church. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
