The Residents were singing up a storm this Halloween morning with the Nativity School 2nd grade students. Every year on Halloween, the Nativity School 2nd grade teachers trek their students over to our Auditorium for a Halloween inspired concert, complete with costumes, singing, and treats.
The Residents love to see the kids, and look forward to this annual event. “That show was just wonderful!” said Resident Margaret Talbert, “They really did such a wonderful job.”
Some of the Residents even put on costumes to show off to the children. Jo Ann Zurlinden is even looking forward to next year, “Maybe I’ll be a cowgirl, like one of the children were this year. Such a good idea!” And Resident Mary Frasz dressed up and handed out candy to each of the performers, who graciously accepted with a smile.
Some of the students even put together a book entitled “The 13 Days of Halloween” complete with student drawn pictures. They took the time to rad it to the Residents before heading back to school.
