Our beloved Resident priest, Father Cyprian Berens, O.F.M, celebrated his 60th Anniversary of his ordination as a priest on Wednesday, October 26.
He gave an excellent homily at his daily 11am mass about what the life of a priest is like. It was thoughtful and reflective. And his final thought was so fitting of life in our home: “The Life of a Priest is a Happy Life.” Beautifully said.
After Mass, the Home held a special luncheon in honor of this big day with some gifts, a grand buffet of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and his favorite dessert, homemade carrot cake….hmmmmmm good!
Congratulation, Father Cyprian, on such a momentous day and thank you for the wonderful party……We are blessed to have you in our Home!
