The 2011 Holiday Boutique got the Christmas Season off to a great start at the Home this past weekend.
Residents and volunteers created some awesome crafts for folks to buy to celebrate this holiday season. Quilts, home decorations, and Christmas goody bags flew off the tables. We had a steady crowd of folks stopping by on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.
No boutique would be complete without the outstanding food, especially the homemade soups that are sold at the event. Residents and staff alike prepare some of the best soups in town, and they sell like hotcakes. There was a steady stream of folks coming in the door just to get the soup!
All proceeds go toward the 2012 Activities Fund for the residents. Not only did shoppers get some great deals, but they helped support a very worthy cause in the process.
Great weekend!
