Every warm month of the year, we have a bus full of Residents who want to go for a drive and a stop for ice cream.
One of our favorite stops is Putz’s Creamy Whip on the west side of town. They are always very friendly with our big order of cups and cones full of chocolate and vanilla goodness. With our bellies full of frozen treats, we take a scenic drive through town.
The Residents love to eat and reminisce about where they used to live, play, and work. This is just one small way we work to fill Jeanne Jugan’s request to “Make the Residents happy.” And Ice Cream sure does!
Ice cream outing? Yes, Please!
