We were blessed to have Mother Provincial visit our home for her Feast Day on Monday, December 12, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The festivities kicked off with a special Mass celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Binzer in honor of Mother Provincial, followed by a production of the special play “Our Lady of Guadalupe” performed by the residents of the home.
The production was a big success. Mother Provincial Loraine Marie Clare thoroughly enjoyed the performances by the Residents. After the play, a reception was held in the auditorium featuring cake, snacks and punch.
One of our beloved Residents, Margaret, was given the honor of presenting a special donation check to Mother Provincial for $10,000. The money was collected throughout the year by the residents for the Little Sisters of the Poor and their missions in South America.
It was a beautiful way to begin the week at our home!
