Guests were lining the hall for the first annual Rummage Sale which was held March 22-23. As the doors opened, the crowds rushed to find bargains galore! The auditorium was transformed into bargain central with tables packed with craft items, floral arrangements, glassware, holiday décor for all seasons and household goods. There was clothing and shoes from Chez Eugene, our resale shop, with sheets, afghans and more. Everything was priced affordably. For those who were looking for furniture, we had rows of chairs, dressers, televisions and an entertainment center. Many of these items were perfect for setting up an empty basement or dorm room with just the perfect item. At the end of the rummage sale, leftover items went to St. Vincent DePaul to help others in need. Many volunteers helped made this event successful and all monies raised will help the Home. Without our faithful volunteers, these event would not be as successful. We appreciate everyone who chipped in to help.
