Residents raising their glasses at Cracker Barrel.
A recent lunch outing to Cracker Barrel gave Residents and a new friend a chance to “do lunch.” Once a month, Residents enjoy a lunch outing. Cracker Barrel is their favorite spot. The country charm of the restaurant, the store with hundreds of colorful items, and great comfort food are all appealing.
What made this lunch even more special is that it was made possible with a little help from a friend. This new friend came to the home for the first time this Spring. After seeing a rousing game of Bingo in action, he wanted to jump right in. He asked about the other fun activities we had for the Residents, and how he could help. After one look at the monthly calendar, he saw the Cracker Barrel outing and said, “I’ll help with that.” The Residents enjoyed a great kindness from our new friend, who also likes good comfort food. Thank you for making the Residents very happy!
