We have been so blessed over this Christmas season. Many groups have come to our home to spread joy and happiness. Even Santa himself came to make sure our Residents and Employees were behaving themselves for the Holidays!
Over the past month, our Residents were able to sing-a-long to all of our favorite seasonal tunes. Our holiday spirits were thriving even with some of the frigid snowy weather Cincinnati has encountered. CCM (The University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music) carolers trudged through the snow to sing some of our favorite carols. We were so grateful to their sacrifice to brave the cold weather.
Also, we want to extend our gratitude to the Clifton Cub Scouts for joining us for music and conversation. The St. Edmund Campion concert was another event we thoroughly enjoyed. Having a home full of people, we end up gaining many friends. With that we would like to thank the Goist family String Quartet who we knew through one of our current Residents. Our old friends, One Voice Chorus, were here first this season to spread holiday cheer. Last but not least we want to thank Santa!
With all the practice these groups allowed us, the Residents performed wonderfully at our Annual Lessons and Carols. We were joined by our Dominican brothers to remember the reason for the season and to prepare for the coming of Our Lord.
After all the shows and events, we are ever so excited and blessed to celebrate the birth of our Savior!
