This year was truly a WINTER ball. Cincinnati has almost beaten the record for accumulated snowfall in one season this year! Our annual ball was a victim of this year’s snow monster, forcing us to postpone the ball for two weeks. Even so, the weather did not deter us from celebrating in this New Year!
Again this year, our ears were serenaded by the sweet sounds of the Sound Body Jazz Orchestra. We want to give a big thanks to the group for their determination to stick with us through the changes. Even with the lights dimmed low, the room was sparkling with bright spirits and glowing smiles. We had almost 200 guests, residents, family, and friends included. They were served scrumptious hors d’oeuvres, prepared with love by our extraordinary kitchen staff.
Everyone was enjoying conversation and music, while a few even dared to shuffle their feet a little around the dance floor. The best part about the ball is giving the friends and families of our residents a night of entertainment with their loved ones. Residents old and new are able to meet. Residents are able to share their daily experiences with the family. And residents are able to let loose and have some fun.
The event could not have taken place without the help of our spectacular volunteers and staff. We think this year was yet another success! Thank you to everyone involved, for your patience and participation. We hope to see you all again next year!
