Neither Rain, nor Sleet, nor Snow….

  • February 23, 2015

St. Paul’s Home staff members show their commitment to our Residents throughout the year in many ways, but their dedication has particularly shown itself during the recent winter storms.

During the record snows of a recent weekend, on Saturday morning Collecting Driver Mike Bauer brought his wife, Vickie – a member of our home’s housekeeping staff – in to work and then used the Begging Van to pick up additional staff members at their homes.

Laundry staff member Gail Rapien, in anticipation of the harsh driving conditions, came to work Friday night before the worst of the snow storm hit and then stayed at our home until Sunday afternoon.

There were equally dedicated staff among the kitchen, maintenance, nursing and other departments.

To all our dedicated staff we say “thank you.” Your commitment is truly appreciated!
