Since 1995, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra has been donating concerts tickets to our Home. This is possible through contributions from area donors to a special fund called “The Gift of Music,” a long standing program of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. For many years, we have been recipients of this generous program; it has provided us with many musical treats for our Residents. On Friday, April 12, the activities staff and ten Residents attended the “Alpine Majesty” performance. The performance included excerpts of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 and Strauss’s Alpine Symphony, a magnificent mixture of two musical greats. Outings like this are highly anticipated and the joy it brings the Residents is a delight to our hearts. As the saying goes, “music is good for the soul!” and our Residents share every bit of this enthusiasm.
